New KTM 400 EXCs!
We have recently taken delivery of our new KTM 400EXCs and after the first several tours, they are performing very well. After we had ordered the bikes, we were informed that we had gotten lucky! We were going to receive a special limited edition that included lots of extra "trick" bits. In addition to those "extras", we have fitted the bikes with large fuel reservoirs. We hope you'll come and join us on tour on one of our new KTMs. (

New Coastal Route based in EssaouiraStarting immediately, we are offering a new truly "Coastal" tour. We will be staying at the charming Villa Saada (
www.villasaada.com) in Essaouira on the Atlantic coast each night and will ride throughout the region each day. Each day will include 200-250 kilometres of sand, dunes, rocks, mountains, and stunning views of the ocean. The region is so savage that during a recent exploration trip there, Brad came across a herd of 14 adult wild boar and 5 little ones. So if you want to ride in unspoilt territory, where no other bike tour operators go, then join us this summer (June, July and September 2008) for the best summer holiday you can find.
You can also bring your wife or non-riding friends along. They will enjoy lounging next to the pool or the hammam (traditional sauna) at Villa Saada, or they can spend the day sun bathing on the beach.
If you have a group of 4 or more bikers, why not contact us today to book dates of your choosing? We are offering tours of 3-5 days in length.
Bertil Marcusson Mini-Dakar TourOnce again, we will be teaming up with Swedish 2-time Dakar veteran Bertil Marcusson to offer a Mini-Dakar experience. From 18-22 November, with Bertil as your guide and the Wilderness Wheels team providing support, you will ride on some of the actual Dakar tracks from recent years and you will have the opportunity to follow actual Dakar roadbooks. Bertil will give you some riding advice and tips as you go and the evenings will be filled with his Dakar stories. This tour is open to all experienced riders--you don't need to be Swedish to join up. (

Agadir Enduro 2007Team Wilderness Wheels competed once again in this 3-day enduro competition in the sunny coastal town of Agadir. This event is held annually in March and is sponsored by Norton Club of Switzerland. Our team included 5 competitors and 1 who did the parallel raid. The timing was very tight this year but that didn't keep Kiwi Mike Shepherd from taking top honours for the team finishing 15th in the +250 cc class and 21st overall. Congratulations Mike!
The Agadir Enduro always offers a great variety of sand, dunes, rocks, technical goat tracks (or no tracks at all!), mountains, fast tracks and plenty of sun. We welcome you to join us next year in 2008 (usually the first or second weekend of March) for this event. We will be offering full assistance and guiding (Peter or I will accompany you) for the non-competitive parallel raid. So if you have never done an Enduro competition before, this would be an ideal opportunity for you to get some experience. (

Tire BallsHave you heard of this new alternative to traditional tubes or bib mousses? We now have Tire Balls fitted into many of our bikes so that your ride will be puncture-free. If you are interested in using Tire Balls on the bike you will use for your tour, let us know. There is no extra cost--just the joy of riding on soft tires that won't puncture. (
www.tireballs.com)The Dakar Spectating Tour 2007From 7-11 January 2007, 14 enduro riders and 8 road riders joined us for our 4th annual Dakar spectating tour. This year, for the second time, we teamed up with Riders 4 Rights to raise money for charity. (
www.riders4rights.com) We watched all the competitors on their final sprint to the finish of Stage 4 at Foum Zguid, then we were able to enter the "Bikes-only" bivouac in Foum Zguid that evening and spoke to some of our favourite competitors. After a short night's sleep, we woke up early to watch the departure of Stage 5. For lots of action photos of the Dakar and a full report, check out the R4R website (
www.riders4rights.com). This was our best Dakar spectating tour yet, and we hope to offer a similar tour next year, including our own Dakar-style bivouac. All the places on our enduro bikes are already filled, but we are offering up to 8 places on Honda 650 Transalps for a parallel road tour.
